Mise Éire I am Ireland international

The history, economics and politics of Ireland have been overshadowed by the conflicts that have ravaged Ireland over the past centuries. In this new developing post war Ireland we can celebrate that rich heritage, Culture and Politics that make up Ireland as it moves forward into the next century. We look forward to welcoming all who share an interest in Ireland, its history and its future.

This is the  profile of the Mise Éire I am Ireland group which was set up by Patrick Lawlor and Brian Kelly in February 2009. The group currently has 455 worldwide members and is very active on the LInkedin site.

This website grew out of that group and the aim of this site is to provide a cross over with Mise Éire on Linkedin. The pages here will contain several of the blogs that are active on Linkedin and will feature the work and profile of Mise members.

I Am Of Ireland

'I am of Ireland,
And the Holy Land of Ireland,
And time runs on,' cried she.
'Come out of charity,
Come dance with me in Ireland.'

One man, one man alone
In that outlandish gear,
One solitary man
Of all that rambled there
Had turned his stately head.
That is a long way off,
And time runs on,' he said,
'And the night grows rough.'

'I am of Ireland,
And the Holy Land of Ireland,
And time runs on,' cried she.
'Come out of charity
And dance with me in Ireland.'

'The fiddlers are all thumbs,
Or the fiddle-string accursed,
The drums and the kettledrums
And the trumpets all are burst,
And the trombone,' cried he,
'The trumpet and trombone,'
And cocked a malicious eye,
'But time runs on, runs on.'

I am of Ireland,
And the Holy Land of Ireland,
And time runs on,' cried she.
"Come out of charity
And dance with me in Ireland.'
